Getting There
By Ferry
For anyone seeking a "scenic route" or an easy way to see more of Thailand - After landing in Bangkok, you have the option to take a 12 hour ferry trip from Bangkok to Koh Samui, or a bus/train from Bangkok to Surat Thani (7-10 hours) followed by a 90 minute ferry across to Koh Samui.
By Plane
Most international airports will have a direct or connecting flight into Bangkok. From here, the fastest and most direct route is to fly from Bangkok to Koh Samui - the flights is about an hour.

When arriving into Koh Samui, you can either have a pre-arranged shuttle service from your hotel, or you can book yourself a "Grab" or "Bolt" which are the Thai equivalents of Uber.
Our Love Story
Our story began in April 2022 with a Bumble match while James was on a work trip in Dubai. We instantly clicked, spending an unforgettable weekend together before James returned to England. Despite the distance, we stayed connected—messaging, calling, and even spending entire days on Zoom.
By August 2022, James couldn’t wait any longer and moved to Dubai so we could be together. Since then, we’ve built a life filled with laughter, travel, and unforgettable memories—from Bali and Sri Lanka to snowy Russia and staycations across the UAE.
On August 10, 2024, James proposed at Tamoka at the Ritz Carlton, JBR—the place where we had our first date. Now, as we celebrate our wedding in Thailand, we’re excited for the next chapter of our journey together.
This is just the beginning.
